Hello there!
A Little bit of History!
A little history goes a long way. I grew up in the kitchen, helping my mom crack eggs, or sifting flour, or greasing the cake pans. I knew what she did, but not necessarily how she did it. About 10 years ago my son, now 16, loved NASCAR and wanted a themed cake for his 6th birthday. I picked up the phone called my mom and said: hey mom, I am making a cake for Señor's birthday, what is our family recipe? I asked, and without hesitation she shared the recipe, I asked for instructions wrote them down, then my next stop was YouTube because although I had just been given a delicious family recipe, my mom didn't know how to work with Fondant, and the cake my son wanted required fondant. Little did I know fondant is (was) difficult to work with. After a failed attempt I ended up taking a trip to Publix for a cake. His party was a success, the cake, not so much. I didn't give up, I made it a point to perfect the art of a failed attempt. 10 years later, I have successfully crafted over 100 cakes and can say that practice has gotten me to where I am today as I continue to grow in the field of baking, it took 10 years to be where I am today, when all I had been was my mom's helper back in the 80s. I hope you enjoy the pictures in the gallery, every cake was made by me and I hope to one day serve you.
Why I do what I do?
My goal is to give you a memory that will last forever; because it isn't about making a profit, it is about creating a memory that lasts a lifetime! You cannot put a price tag on memories!
